Tamil’s Human Rights Conference on the World Human Rights Day

“Tamil’s Human Rights Conference on the World Human Rights Day 2017 by TGTE (UK)”

Transnational Government of Tamil Eelam (UK) held a Tamil’s Human Rights Conference on the “World Human Rights Day” of December 10, 2017.

To expose the ongoing genocide, enforced disappearance, torture camps, political prisoners, Tamil’s lands been invaded by Sri Lanka forces and many more topics were discussed and debated at the conference.

The conference was addressed by TGTE Prime Minister Hon. Visvanathan Rudrakumar on TGTE activities and specially on this human rights day (10/12/2017), we hand over 1,705 solicitor signatures to the UN to demand the abolition of Sri Lanka”s 6th Amendment which give no freedom of expression by Tamils in Sri Lanka.

Forign Affairs Minister Manikavasakar talked about the current political situation in Sri Lanka,  Prof. Sornaraj  talked about the what is the road map to achieve the justice, peace and permanent solution for our people.

Miss. Ambihai Sivaratnam (ICPPG) talked about importance of collecting evidence to submit to UNHRC, Miss. Ankajakkanni, Mr.Thesiyath Thamil Mannan and Mr. Rajan talked about crises faced by post war victims and political Prisoners.

Deputy Minister of Sports and Community Health Mr. Sockalingam Yogalingam talked about how cunningly Sri Lankan Government hoodwink the world and UN and what the diaspora need to do.

Welfare of families of Martyrs and former Cadres UK country coordinator Mr. Nimalan Seevaratnam talked about the need to expose the Sri Lankan Government specially by the film “in the name of buddha” how our people were genocide and urge everyone to watch the film online at www.tecgtheater.com

Also the event was addressed by human rights activist Clr. Graham Williamson (Executive member of National Liberal Party (NLP) & Nations without States), Ms. Doris Jhones (Founder of Saba & Sarawak and NwS) and  Mr.Thambani (Matabilan activist).

The conference was held by the Human Rights and Action against Mass Atrocities and Genocide Ministry, Transnational Government of Tamil Eelam(TGTE). Mr Pathmanaban Manivannan,  Minister for Human Rights Action against Mass Atrocities and Genocide hosted the event. The event organising committee members  were Deputy Minister of Sports and Community Health Mr. Sockalingam Yogalingam, Welfare of families of Martyrs and former Cadres UK country coordinator Mr. Nimalan Seevaratnam,  TGTE UK Human Rights Coordinator Arumugam MP, Human Rights activists Sivapalan kujiyanthan, Shopana Jeevaratnam and Pushpanathan Sivakanthan
